About

Welcome to my research page. My work revolves around delving deep into the intricate dynamics of fluid motion, combining experimental methods with theoretical insights to understand unique flows.

My current research is centered around the enthralling dynamics witnessed at interfaces, particularly during the phenomenon of Marangoni spreading observed in thin films. This intriguing process unravels intricate dynamics, where the interplay of surface tension gradients influences the spreading and behavior of these films. I'm also captivated by the turbulence and instabilities that happen on surfaces during such fast flows. These phenomena show us how fluid surfaces can be both chaotic and organized in different situations.

I completed my PhD in June 2023 from the Department of Applied Mechanics, Indian Institute of Technology Madras, under the guidance of Prof. Baburaj A P as my thesis advisor. Collaborating closely with Prof. Sreeram K. Kalpathy from IIT Madras has also added valuable dimensions to my doctoral journey.
Presently, I am actively seeking opportunities for postdoctoral research.
